- 2 1/2 cups reduced fat (2%) milk
- 1/4 cups water
- 1/2 cup date
- 1 3/4 cup rolled oats
- 3/4 cup dried cherries
- 3/4 chopped almonds, toasted
- 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degree Farenheit
- Lightly greased an 8x8 inch baking dish with olive oil
- In latge bowl, combine milk, water, and sugar.
In a second large bowl, combine oats, cherries, almonds, and cinnamon. - Pour liquid ingredientsinto oat mixture and stir.
- Pour into baking dish and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until all liquid is absorbed.
Serve 10
Note: It can be made with soy, rice, or almonds.
