Pecan Pie

Ingredients:
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/3 cups light corn syrup
  • 1/2 stick butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 9-inch prebaked pie crust.


Method:
  • Preheat oven 400 degrees.
  • In bowl, combine eggs, salt, and sugar.
    Whisk well to combine.
    Add corn syrup, melted butter and vanilla. Whisk well again.
  • Spread pecan evenly on the bottom of prebaked pie crust. Ladle filling gently over pecans.
  • Bake in the oven for 15 minutes., then lower temperature to 350 degrees and bake for 30-35 minutes, until the center is just set.

Pita Chips

Ingredients
  • 4 pita pockets
  • Olive OIl
  • Paprika


Methods:
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degress.
  • Cut each pita into bite size traingles.
  • Brush both side of the bread with olive oil and sprinkle paprika.
  • Place in a single layer on the baking sheet and bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until brown.
  • Serve hot or at room temperature with dips, cheese or as a snack.
  • Store in a air tight container for up to 2 days or can recrisp in oven preheated to 325 degrees for 5 minutes.

Rice Flour Crispy

Ingredients
  • Corriander
  • Garlic
  • Shallots
  • Cutchery Powder (kencur in Indonesian words)
  • Rice Flour (1/4 of peanut measurements)
  • Peanut (cut in small)
  • 2 teaspoon Tapioca
  • Eggs


Methods
  • Blend corriander, garlic, shallots, and cutcherry powder.
  • Put together all the ingredients.
  • Make sure the dough is very smooth and feel more watery.
  • Fry one spoon of the dough in hot oil.
  • Eat when it's cold.
  • The fried dough should be very crispy and crunchy.

Cream Pops

Ingredients

Dough
  • 100 gram flour
  • 50 gram butter
  • 180 cc water
  • 4 eggs (you can use 3 eggyolks and 2 white eggs)


Cream
  • 125 gram sugar
  • 75 gram flour
  • 100 cc milk
  • 50 gram butter
  • 2 eggs


Methods
  • Water and Butter, cook in low heat.
  • Put and mix flour, then put aside to let it cool.
  • Put egg one by one, and stir.
  • Make dough with the dough ingredients.
  • Put the cream inside the small ball of dough.
  • Put the ball Cream Pops in greased pan.
  • Bake at 180 degree Celcius for about 20 to 30 minutes until brown.
  • Serve when it cool.

Cornmeal Cake with Fruits Topping

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups reduced fat milk
  • 1/2 cup coarse cornmeal
  • 1/4 cup and 1 tablepoon date
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 large fruits cut (pears, apple, peach)- optional


Methods
  • Preheat oven to 375 degree Farenheit
  • In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, bring milk to a simmer.
    In a slow steady stream, add cornmeal, stir constantly.
    When mixture returns to a simmer, reduce heat to low and cook, stirring constantly until it thickens, about 2 minutes.
  • Add 1/4 cup sugar and stir until mixture is smooth and thick, about 2 minutes.
    Stir in butter and remove from heat.
    Cool for 2 minutes.
    Add eggs, and blend well.
    Pour batter into greased cake pan.
  • In a medium bwol, toss cut fruit with lemon juice. Arrange on top of batter and sprinkle with remaining 1 tablespoon sugar.
  • Bake for about 40 minutes, until firm to the touch and lightly browned.
    Cool on a rack.


Serve 10.

Note: It's almost the same as a custard.
