- 4 eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/3 cups light corn syrup
- 1/2 stick butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 9-inch prebaked pie crust.
Method:
- Preheat oven 400 degrees.
- In bowl, combine eggs, salt, and sugar.
Whisk well to combine.
Add corn syrup, melted butter and vanilla. Whisk well again. - Spread pecan evenly on the bottom of prebaked pie crust. Ladle filling gently over pecans.
- Bake in the oven for 15 minutes., then lower temperature to 350 degrees and bake for 30-35 minutes, until the center is just set.
