- 2 pie crust package premade (for bottom and top)
- 8 aples cortland
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon flour
Directions
- Heat oven 425 degree Farenheit.
- peel and slice apple.
- pour sugar and cinnamon over apple.
- Add flour to make the filling thicker.
- Mix together, and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Press one of the pie crust into the pie plate.
- Sprinkle with a little bit of flour.
- Pour the apple mixture into the crust sprinkle a little more flour over the apple.
- Cover the apple with the top piece of pie crust.
- Fold the apple of the bottom crust up over the top crust and pinch together to seal.
- Poke six V shaped slits into the crust to steam can came out.
- Bake the pie 40 minutes until golden brown.
Let it cool before eating.
