Chili - Chicken or Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 3 tablespoon chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 lb. chicken /shrimp
  • 1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
  • 2 (15 oz.) beans, rinsed and drained


Directions

  • Heat oil over medium heat. Add onion, and cook until tender. Stir in chili powder, oregano, and cumin.
  • Increase heat to medium high. Add chicken/shrimp. Cook and stir until cook or no longer pink.
  • Add undrained tomatoes, breaking up tomatoes with a spoon.
  • Add bean. Cook until heated through, stirring occasionally.


Prep time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
