- 1/2 cup Oil
- 3/4 cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 cup Water
- 2 cups Unbleached Flour
- 1 cup Raisins
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 2 cups Quicks Oats
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degree Farenheit.
- In a saucepan, combine water and raisins, then heat until the water begins to boil. Turn off heat and cool.
- In a large bowl, combine oil, sugar, and eggs and beat well.
- Add raisins and all liquid to mixture.
- Add dry ingredients.
- Beat well and stir in oats.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 350 degree for 10-12 minutes or until delicately brown.
- Make approximately 4 dozen cookies.
