Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Oil
  • 3/4 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 2 cups Unbleached Flour
  • 1 cup Raisins
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 2 cups Quicks Oats


Directions
  • Preheat oven to 350 degree Farenheit.
  • In a saucepan, combine water and raisins, then heat until the water begins to boil. Turn off heat and cool.
  • In a large bowl, combine oil, sugar, and eggs and beat well.
  • Add raisins and all liquid to mixture.
  • Add dry ingredients.
  • Beat well and stir in oats.
  • Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
  • Bake at 350 degree for 10-12 minutes or until delicately brown.
  • Make approximately 4 dozen cookies.
